Our Vaccine Policy
We believe that vaccines are safe and that vaccinating children and adolescents to prevent life-threatening diseases is one of the most important services we provide.
We follow AAP guidelines and recommend that vaccines are given within an acceptable "window" according to our established schedule.
Parents who choose not to vaccinate their children according to established guidelines not only put their children at risk of getting sick, but also indirectly put other children at risk. This is why we feel strongly that the best way to protect the health of all children in our practice is to ensure that all follow the recommended schedule. If your philosophy differs from ours, we request that you find another pediatric practice.
Our Recommended Shots
Your kid needs most of these vaccines to be a patient here. The ones we've highlighted are recommended, but it's your decision and we won't insist. We also recommend a few others not on this list—like an annual flu shot, the COVID-19 booster, and Beyfortus (RSV) for newborns.
