Search for us at uhc.com/find-a-doctor. Look up Watchung Pediatrics and select your specific plan type. You can also call the number on the back of your member ID card.

Which Hometown Pediatrics locations accept UnitedHealthcare?

Both locations. Our Wall, NJ office (3350 Route 138, Suite 126) and our Freehold, NJ office (495 Iron Bridge Rd, Suite 1) are both in-network with UnitedHealthcare commercial plans.

Does UnitedHealthcare cover my child when traveling out of state?

It depends on your plan type. PPO plans (Options PPO, Choice Plus) provide national coverage at any in-network provider across the country. HMO and EPO plans are limited to your designated service area except for emergencies, which are covered anywhere.

What is the UnitedHealthcare Children's Foundation?

The UnitedHealthcare Children's Foundation provides grants of up to $5,000 to families whose children (16 and under) have medical needs not fully covered by insurance. It covers therapy, surgeries, prescriptions, eyeglasses, hearing aids, and more. Any family with commercial insurance can apply — not just UHC members.

What is UHC Rewards?

UHC Rewards lets members earn up to $300 per year (or up to $1,000 with employer buy-up) for completing wellness activities like annual checkups, tracking steps, and tracking sleep. Check availability through the UnitedHealthcare app or at uhc.com.
